Varsity Head Coach, Nick Marsh
Coach Marsh joined the Hall coaching staff in 2018 following two years as Head Coach of the Anna Maria College baseball program in Paxton, Massachusetts.
Prior to Anna Maria, Marsh was an assistant baseball coach at Castleton University where he served under decorated head coach Ted Shipley. At Castleton, Marsh worked with the pitching staff, coaching them to a staff ERA of 2.71 and guiding junior Sam Spencer to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Pitcher of the Year title.
The 2014 and 2015 Castleton squads both won the NAC championship titles and advanced to the NCAA regional tournament.
Prior to joining Castleton, Marsh spent time in Shanghai, China as a coach in the Major League Baseball system at the Changzhou Development Center. In China, Marsh established relationships between the Xieche International School and the MLB for a potential farm system. Marsh also made coaching stops at American International College, Hiram College, and Wabash College, where he served in various capacities including as a hitting coach, a recruiting coordinator, and a lead assistant coach.
Marsh also served as the head coach and general manager of the West Hartford Thunder of the Connecticut College Baseball League. Marsh’s responsibilities with the summer league team including day-to-day operations as well as coaching duties.
Marsh graduated from Urbana University in 2005 with a degree in Political Science. He obtained his Master of Arts degree in Education in 2014 from Castleton University. Marsh resides in Bloomfield, Conn. with his wife.
Varsity Pitching Coach, Scott LaRock
Coach LaRock joined the Hall coaching staff as pitching coach in 2019.
Coach LaRock previously played baseball at Cheshire High School and the University of Hartford. LaRock stands as the University of Hartford’s career leader in wins with 19, is second in strikeouts (182), and third all-time in innings pitched (281.0). He posted eight wins (third highest in a single season) and 69 strikeouts (highest in a single season) as a senior and was team captain and MVP that year. He was named All-New England in 1993. Earned a spot on the 1992 ECAC Division I All-Tournament team and the 1994 North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament team. Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 1994 and spent a brief time in the minor leagues before retiring.
LaRock also volunteers as a coach in the West Hartford Amateur Baseball Association (WHABA), where he is the assistant coach of the 2019 West Hartford Thunder U14 spring baseball team, and was assistant coach of the 2018 West Hartford Thunder U13 baseball team which competed in the Vantis Life Baseball League.
LaRock graduated from the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business in 1999 with degree in Public Administration. LaRock is currently a teacher in the Canton, Conn school district. He resides in West Hartford, Conn. with his wife and three children.

Coach Picard joined the Hall coaching staff as Junior Varsity coach in 2019.
